Install EDIS Tools from CD
The most current versions of our software are always found on this website. We highly recommend using our latest versions to ensure your success in viewing your data. Most Contracting Office solicitations are sent out in CD format. The CD may contain older, unsupported software that may not install or function on current operating systems. The following instructions are provided for historical purposes, but may assist in the installation of EDIS tools, as needed, on your computer.
  1. Put the CD in the drive. If the autorun functions, go to #6.
  2. Go to the Windows Explorer.
  3. Scroll down to the CD drive in the Exploring window. The CD volume label should be displayed.
  4. Click on the CD volume label. The contents of the CD will display in the right side of the Exploring window.
  5. Double-click on Start.exe.
  6. The CD will check for the required software and install any not found.
  7. Take the defaults on any questions during the install process. The installation software may require a system reboot, depending on the operating system.
  8. If removed, reinsert the CD into the CDROM drive. If the autorun does not function, go to Windows Explorer and click on the CD drive.
  9. Double-click on Start.exe.
  10. The Solicit window will display with the Pron Number in the selection window.
  11. Double-click on the Pron Number. This will open IndexR.
  12. Double-click on the document numbers to view.

NOTE: ImageView and IndexR can start independently by selecting them from the "EDMS Software Suite" program group.
